The Moultrie, GA native was the son of the late Clifford Leota Lynch Lewis and Edward Hugh Lewis. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son-in-law, Michael Madison. Paula graduated with a degree in elementary education from Valdosta State College and a masters degree from Florida State University.
